Pre-workout Perfection: Coffee Smoothie

My love for coffee is not a very well-kept secret now, is it? Well, I didn’t intend it to be because if we’re honest, coffee is love, coffee is life.

Tbh, I cut down on the real thing a long time ago. Since I drink a lot of coffee and I have a very sensitive nervous system, decaf is my go-to. At home, that is. And post-workout too. Pre-workout and buying coffee when I’m out, that’s when I allow myself to get caffeinated.

I remember that in my pre-blog/pre-insta era, I used to drink a coffee smoothie with oats and errthing.Β  I can’t remember how I used to make it though and I had kind of forgotten about the whole ‘coffee in smoothies is goddamn tasty’ thing. But then I saw my girl @Soy’nCherryΒ making a mouthwatering coffee concoction and I figured I had to make one myself too.

I’m not exagerating when I say that after this smoothie, I can gym/run/bike/jump/… for hours on end. I feel energized, my heart is pumping. This smoothie is filling and full of healthy goodness but your stomach won’t feel heavy or make you feel sluggish at all. Pre-workout perfection if you ask me.

Hope you enjoy!

Tag me on da Insta if you try this out, would love to hear how your post-smoothie workout went down!

With all my love,
